Leaders of 17 EU countries have sent to Donald Tusk, President of the European Council, a letter calling upon the comprehensive development of the Single Market aiming at the Union’s sustainable growth and global competitiveness.

The EU leaders set out seven major areas to be developed for the next five years including the need of tight linkage of the Single Market, digitalisation and industrial policy, growth of the service economy as well as efficient implementation and enforcement of rules across the EU.
