A German shipping company “Wiedmann & Winz” has warned about the negative impact of the “Mobility Package I” to middle class Germans.
A regular return of vehicles to a country of establishment is regarded as one of the most damaging proposals due to the significant increase in prices and negative ecological outcomes. Together with other “Mobility Package’s I” proposals Western European countries aim at protecting their domestic markets; however, these proposals will result in distortion of supply chains in the EU without capacities of the Eastern Europian hauliers.
According to “Wiedmann & Winz”, “We cannot only export our vehicles and machines to Eastern Europe and at the same time shut down its transport industry”.
